Thank you for the notice, bro. I’ll fix it as soon as possible and get back to you shortly.

A comprehensive look at local, multi-state and national news events provided by the ABC 6 News Team including updates on sports and weather conditions and traffic.

(ABC 6 News) – Every December, Apple highlights the apps that made the biggest impact on users. This year’s App of the Year is Tiimo, a simple but powerful planning tool that has become a favorite for people who want an easier way to stay on schedule.

Tiimo originally gained popularity among people with ADHD and others who struggle with executive functioning. Apple pointed out that Tiimo succeeds because it breaks routines into small, doable steps that feel more helpful than overwhelming. It is a planning app that meets users where they are.

Instead of long to-do lists, Tiimo uses visual planning. Your day is laid out with bright icons, color-coded routines, and short timers that show you exactly what you need to do and when. It is easy to see your entire day at a glance. Tap a task, and Tiimo gives you a simple prompt to get started.

You can create routines for mornings, work days, workouts, or getting kids ready for school. Tasks can repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. You can connect calendars and reminders from Google and Apple, so everything shows up in one place.

One of Tiimo’s most useful tools is CoPlanner. It works like a digital assistant. Tell it something you need to do, and CoPlanner finds the right place in your schedule. It is also a great way to clear your mind by dumping ideas into the app and letting Tiimo organize them.

Another standout is focus mode. Instead of using a separate focus app, Tiimo puts it on the front page. Tap focus, set a time, and choose from playlists designed to help you concentrate without distracting lyrics.

There is one limitation. Tiimo is not yet available on Android. However, the developers offer a web version that syncs across other devices so users can plan from a computer or tablet.

Tiimo works because it keeps things simple. It turns planning into something you can follow even on busy days when your brain is juggling too much at once. That is why Apple selected it as this year’s top app and why so many users say it finally helps them stay on track.

If your current to-do app causes more stress than progress, Tiimo might be worth a try. It is free to download with optional upgrades and available now in the App Store.
