Krista Rager, a real estate investor, licensed realtor, CEO of Para-Coat Technologies Inc. and author, has released a children’s book series called “Penny & Brick,” according to a press release.
The first three titles in the series are “Penny & Brick Learn Real Estate,” which focuses on real estate investing; “Penny & Brick Start a Lemonade Stand,” on business basics; and “Penny and Brick Learn to Save,” on learning to save for big goals.
The collection is designed to teach children the basics of money, saving and investing – starting from their first piggy bank to their first big goal. The series breaks down complex financial topics into illustrated stories, featuring the characters Penny and Brick, who guide young readers through themes such as saving for the future, exploring real estate investing and understanding how money grows with interest.
Each book includes interactive elements, such as activity pages, prompts and real-life examples designed to be educational and fun.
Rager was born and raised in Johnstown, is a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School, attended the University of Pittsburgh and started Para-Coat Technologies in 2010 with her husband Michael.
